I always loved the jester character. It appeared in my paintings many years ago and at that time he was sad. Sad because for me he represented an Ego trying its best to fit in and realizing how foolish it looks. There is something childish and sincere about him. He is definitely talented and witty but for whatever reason he is always rejected by the society. Truthful, blunt, naive, playful, he is an eternal outcast doomed to travel from town to town, from century to century attracting hopeless idealists and free souls.
